The Peoria Riverfront Museum presents a "Cars and Cocktails" event, featuring original members of The Slowpokes, a car club from Peoria, Illinois that hosted the first ever Street Rod Nationals in 1970.
Celebrate the rich tradition of custom car culture in central Illinois, and hear from some of the Slowpokes that started it all, with the first Street Rod Nationals being the first national gathering for custom car builders from coast to coast that still convenes annually to this day. Light refreshments will be served, and one drink token will be included with every ticket. Get our signature cocktail of the night, a Sidecar, and then get another with a cash bar going for the entire event.
